## **Feature Your Startup**

Spotlight on Startups publishes reported features about B2B founders and the companies they run. A writer produces the feature from an interview with you and your written responses. Features are free, and coverage cannot be purchased.

We select the companies we cover, and not every inquiry results in a published feature.

Read our **[Editorial Standards](https://spotlightonstartups.com/editorial-standards/?output_format=md)** for how we select and what we verify. See the **[full cost breakdown](https://spotlightonstartups.com/get-featured-cost/?output_format=md)** for what is and is not free. Browse our [**AEO & Earned Media Glossary of Terms**.](https://spotlightonstartups.com/glossary/?output_format=md)

**How the Process Works**

- **Step 1: Tell us about your company** — Complete the form below with the basics about your business and what you are building.
- **Step 2: Coordination** — We follow up by email or phone to schedule. Some scheduling calls are placed by an AI assistant, which we disclose so you know what you are answering.
- **Step 3: The interview** — A 15-minute conversation with Gregg Kell, plus written questions sent to your inbox. Both are source material for the writer.
- **Step 4: Reporting and publication** — A writer develops the feature from the interview and your responses. Drafting is AI-assisted, and every feature is fact-checked and edited before publication. Claims we cannot verify are removed or attributed to you.

## **Why Founders Do This**

**An independent account exists.** When a buyer, a partner, or an AI assistant looks into your company, most of what they find is your own marketing. A reported feature is a third-party account of what you do, written by someone else, with the facts checked.

**We want the specifics, not the press release.** The late nights, the breakthroughs, what broke and what you learned. That is what makes a feature worth reading and worth citing.

**No promises attached.** We do not guarantee traffic, leads, search rankings, or citation by any AI system. Our **research** describes what we have measured, not what we can deliver for you.
